A few reflections after using Supernotes as my go-to app for idea capture

Hi @NSJK,

Glad to hear you’re enjoying Supernotes more and more, here’s a few reflections on your reflections.

  1. Infinite Scroll or Automatic Bento Layout
Infinite scroll won’t be arriving to the List / Broadsheet views, but it will be added to the new simple Table layout in the upcoming 3.2 release.

  2. Option to Sort Parent Cards Old → New
You can already invert the child card sort order, by pressing Cmd / Ctrl + K → Sort Cards → Toggle Sort Direction. We’ve got an internal FR to add sort direction to the ‘Default Sort Order’ in a future update.

  3. Additional Themes (e.g., Bear App Style)
Adding more themes hasn’t been top priority mainly because our color palette is v. large and there hasn’t been much interest since we generally offer more themes than most out of the box, link to my reply to there. However please like the original post on the thread I linked so we can gauge interest.

  4. Streamlined PNG Export for Sharing
You can already create PNGs of cards, just right click on a card “Copy…” → “Screenshot”. You can find this option in the ellipsis ( … ) menu on mobile as well.

  5. Bulk Collection View Settings
If you’d like to override views that’s why we have the view lock option, so you can temporarily lock a view to “Broadsheet” when switching between collections. Just press the little lock icon when inside the “View” menu. Does that work for your use case? It’s unlikely we’d add a way to bulk update collections in the future.

Hope that helps Charles, thanks again for all your feedback.
