Hi @tobias
My apologies if I was not clear!
I don’t mean to say that I think you guys should ship a ton of features. Also, the apps I use most often are from small teams and have a slow pace.
I really like a minimalist approach to software, so I don’t want you to start doing the opposite.
What I really mean is that you can share what’s coming next or what you are working on right now, like an update about the team’s focus in the next period.
As an example, I really like what Amir from Doist does.
They don’t have a public roadmap, but he is constantly showing what they are working on without an ETA.
This is more of an approach to give enthusiasm and security to everyone who uses the software.
Also, I don’t like public roadmaps because they create anxiety. Some companies have a public roadmap, and we see that they will work on feature X, but this can take several years to release because they can’t release everything, and some features (like PDF upload support - #30 by ivomota) take a lot of time to be developed.
I think it is more interesting to have a stand-up in the community about what the company is working on right now! The blockers and next steps.
I’m very sorry if my comment sounded like pressure to have a roadmap. It was not my intention at all.
Thank you for your time answering my concerns.
