AI based search with option to generate an card with the contents and links to the related notes
Hey @icecrystalcore, thanks for the feature request. We are unlikely to implement this as requested due to our overall stance on AI features, which you can read about here.
A major pillar of our stance is that we do not want to add features which reduce your awareness of your own notes. If an AI is generating cards for you, you will slowly but surely have less and less knowledge of what is happening with your own content, and we think that is an anti-pattern. At Supernotes, we believe the purpose of a “personal knowledge management” app should be to help you think better, not have an AI do the thinking for you. We recognize this runs a bit counter to how many apps are treating AI at the moment, but after much deliberation we think this is the right path to take.
AI (contextual) search is indeed very powerful and is actually something we’d like to add in the future. However we will probably only add that feature when it is possible for the AI-ingestion of your notes to happen locally on your devices, in order to preserve your privacy and ensure that these features are available even when offline. At the moment this is not feasible, but we expect these AI models will get smaller and more performant in the very near future, and we will be keeping a close eye on that progress.

I just wanted to say that I absolutely love (and agree with) this stance that you and @Tobias have taken on AI.
