Bug when replacing multiple words with an emoji at the same time

Description of the bug
When editing multiple instances of the same word at the same time and using the built in Supernotes emoji shorthand: " :[emoji] ", only the first instance gets added correctly. The other instances have what looks to be a portion of the shorthand left over along with the emoji.

Device, App & Version
MacBook Pro M1 Max, Sequoia (macOS 15.1.1 (24B91)), Supernotes (Version 3.1.7 (3.1.7))

Steps to reproduce
…On Mac:

  1. Start a test card and add a sentence with the same word multiple times
  2. Select the first word and press CMD + SHIFT + D to select all instances of that same word
  3. Type “:” (colon) and the name of any emoji and press return
  4. Repeat step 2, but this time, paste an emoji instead of using Supernotes’ emoji selected

Hi @marlonr, great find, thanks for the report.

This seems to be an issue with not just the emoji coupler, but also the inline card link coupler. We’ll look into improving support for multi-cursor editing with the couplers

That’s a good catch on your part as well. I didn’t even begin to think it could be a coupler issue with multi-cursor editing in general. Nice!
