Card versioning could be an interesting concept. Not sure about the performance impact though.

This is something that would be incredibly valuable for my use, assuming that we’re talking about retaining historical versions here.
For a Zettelkasten approach on your own it’s one thing, but especially when working collaboratively it’s super helpful to see what changes were made or to recover older content.
In my own notes, lists of tasks are drastically more useful if I can periodically delete completed entries, knowing that the history is preserving the information that they once existed.

What a great idea.
After the release of our new editor, versioning is a planned feature on top of that, with the new card format specifically designed to support that.
