Is it possible to change the default visibility for all new cards to be “Visible” instead of “Priority”. This way, I can manually set certain cards (primarily parent cards) as “Priority” so I can have a good structured outline?
That is in fact possible. Navigate to Settings → App Preferences → Customize Behaviour to find the option to change New card visibility.
