I’m looking to use this type of deep link for a collection:
supernotes:/v/collection/thoughtsI created one for myself for a collection titled “Dashboard”. Here’s what that looks like:
supernotes:/v/collection/dashboardWhen I use it, it gives me an error that the collection wasn’t found even though I double checked and the name matches up.
Custom collections (i.e. the non-preconfigured ones) do not have aliases. Aliases were mostly added to maintain backwards-compatibility with the previous system before custom collections. Custom collections themselves are not required to have unique names at the moment, just like cards on Supernotes. So although it is called “dashboard”, that does not actually point anywhere because it is not guaranteed to be unique. If you want to deeplink to a custom collection you must use it’s unique ID, which is also a little bit difficult to find at the moment (you need to open the collection in a web browser and get it from the URL). However in the upcoming version of Supernotes we are making this much easier, so there will be a “copy link to collection” option when you right-click (or long-press on mobile) a collection in the sidebar.
