Common Filter(s) Bar

Would be useful to save my filters within a collection and able to quickly click on them to see relavent cards.

For example, I have a collection called projects and would like to quickly filter based on status (in tags).

I think this is what you’re asking for.

Create the filter you want/need, then on the “Collections” area, there is a “Create a collection from current Filters”

Not exactly, instead of creating a new collection, would like to create multiple filters (and pin them) within the same collection

Hi @jagwarrx,

Could you give us some examples for use cases and workflows of how you’d like to use this? It sounds like you’d prefer to have a “filter bar dropdowns” stuck to the top of the screen where you can quickly scope down certain attributes like colors / tags etc. It’s an interesting idea, and could also work for parent cards, not just collections.

In the meantime, I’ve updated the title of this feature request to more accurately reflect your ask

Hi @tobias , that’s exactly right. I think it has 2 big benefits for me:
(1) Reduces number of collections. I don’t need an “Ongoing Projects” and “Closed Projects” when I can have just “Projects”.
(2) More easier to view cards of a particular category within context of the collection.
Eg: “projects” collection with various on-going/blocked/released cards. I can see all the cards if i want together (within applying filters) or specific ones based on tag thru the saved filters.
