Confused about line breaks command

In this link the team show us how to create breaks between lines. However im very confused. Let me show you

Both formats produce identical results. So, now im wondering what is this (space)(space) all about…

Same is true for “multiple lines break”. And by the way, i can only do one break. If i put multiple blank spaces on edit mode, the “visible” mode will render only one simple space. It seem that pressing Enter has the same result of (space)(space)+enter

Lastly, i cant reproduce an paragraph break with markdown text. The only way i could find was by using the html command

I would like if someone could explain to me what is going on. I have a feeling that im just stupid and its not a bug lol.

P.S: um using android version with KB+Mouse

Doesnt work on windows desktop app either. Actualy, some others “space” features dont work, such as alt + space to Pin stuffs

Hi @dlthunder, welcome to the Supernotes Community!

The link you posted is a generic article about line breaks in Markdown written by us, we have a simpler guide over on our help center here which is specifically for Supernotes.

What are you trying to get working? Why do you want to have multiple line breaks in quick succession?

Oh god, sorry for the trouble. I didnt realize it was a post for generic markdown and not specifically for SN.

In evernote i used to have multiples blank spaces, but here in SN is better to just create another card or use the Horizontal Rule indeed. It was more of an frustration that i coudnt use the feature described in the website (which was the wrong one and i didnt know). If i ever want a bigger space i will just use the " ". Thanks you very much for the quick response.
