I notice when copying text from notes and pasting elsewhere, e.g. in an email, the back ground colour of the note is also copied. Could this somehow be avioded?
This is the intended behaviour of the standard copy mechanic I’m afraid, as it will copy all the text styles including the background.
It’s not something we’ve specifically done on purpose, it’s just how web browsers / operating systems handle it.
By default it copies all the styles associated with the text (bold, italic, colour…), and pasting includes all of that. If you just want to paste the raw text without formatting you can use the ‘Paste and Match Style’ in the Edit menu on most Mac OS applications.
