Opening app on Android should be a little faster. So there’s less friction to start taking new notes. (It is faster to do it on google keep)
Hi @icecrystalcore,
It should be instant if you’ve opened the app recently as you resume your session.
Otherwise from cold start, since Supernotes is a lot more sophisticated that Google Keep, it may take a tad longer but shouldn’t be more than a second or two!
Out of interest can you quantify how long it takes to open Supernotes on your Android device and which Android device / OS are you using?
Recently, launching SN without previously killing it leads to a false start. Redmi note 11 pro 5g global. I don’t complain of SN as my phone has been quite unlucky and is part of the problem. Android phones often are.
Cold start is inherently faster.
Maybe I should see if setting supernotes to autokill when left in background could help. But didn’t have the time to try, and such test may not be meaningful.
As an Android user representative, if supernotes has some sort of logging (maybe in beta versions) let us collect logging. Just keep the beta channel parallel and not alternative to the stable. This way we can collect logging without disrupting the stable version.
