Issue with italic links

I stumbled upon a minor issue regarding links. When using an internal link with a text label set in italics like so

[*text*](^asdf-qwerty-1234)

clicking the link will forward you to an uh-oh. Without asterisks, or even asterisks framing the link from the outside

*[text](^asdf-qwerty-1234)*

things work as expected.

Plus, the issue only exists for internal links, external links work just fine.

This is related to Backlink issue when first item in body is a Link, and has already been fixed in 1.8.1 which will go live today!
