I’ve gone through my cards in August so far and added some targeted dates to cards, because they have to come up in the future again. I then thought about how cool a little indicator would be in the left bottom corner next to the timestamp that this card has an upcoming targeted date.
My thoughts about that are that the most of my cards have a parent and I inside the parent with depth view so I can see all children. With that little indicator it would be clear that this is an already planned task in the future.

Interesting idea @isaiur, one of the challenges with adding all these different indicators is which one to prioritise at which time.
We’ve also considered adding an indicator for the current status of a flashcard when viewing in Columns / Preview. We’ll see what we can do, if anyone else would like this please like @isaiur’s post above
