Lunatask + supernotes

Just wondering if anyone here is using Lunatask alongside supernotes and how you decide what goes in which app.

I don’t use Lunatask, but TickTick, in which I also keep some notes. In order to decide on what goes where, I distuinguish the following functions of any note taking system

  • explore. generate insights to evolve knowledge
  • recall provide data to establish facts
  • apply. instruct actions to support agency

Every note taking tool serves one or usually more of these purposes. But most of the time, there is one main function that can be attributed to a tool. For me, this is

  • Supernotes to explore (insights, quotes, …)
  • TickTick to apply (present ideas, contact information, …)
  • Fabric, Baserow to recall (spreadsheets, documents, …)

It helps to ask, why do I keep this piece of information? For what purpose do I want to use it? The answer tells you where to keep your stuff.

I haven’t been using Lunatask for very long. But I like it a lot.
I use Supernotes for my notes and information, wherever I want to collaborate and create connections. However, I use the Lunartask browser bookmarklet for websites, where I also enter the content there and then process it in Supernotes, with the links, map connections and views it is better suited for this. When transferring from one tool to another, I re-evaluate the information, which acts as quality assurance.
Lunartask, on the other hand, contains my tasks, my everyday life and my reflections, and I really appreciate it for that. I think the two tools complement each other perfectly. I don’t use any API connections yet.
@freisatz brings it together, not one tool, but its own bunch of great tools makes it.
