Modify invisible filter to be non-persistent

I am using invisible filters because I have a lot of cards with the same name and that pollutes search results. For example, I have lots of cards that outline a problem, then they each might have a child like “Brute force solution”, “Optimal Solution” etc, and I don’t want to see these in search results because it’s impossible to navigate, so I make them invisible.

But then, when I do want to see them, then invisible filter is removed on each page change, which is incredibly frustrating. Why is that? Is the filter supposed to be reset like this?

Can anyone offer a solution here?

Hi @fuzzy.beach, we did this intentionally in the past so Invisible cards would be hidden on view change. I’ve modified this to be a feature request and we’ll see what we can do to make it remain unapplied when switching views.

Interesting, thanks for making a FR.

Is there any workaround for now? For example can I save “Not Invisible” as a collection filter? (such that they appear along with visible cards, not only invisible)

Yep a collection should work for sure.

Doesn’t seem like it :frowning: The collection navigation is also non-persistent, so I can’t navigate to child cards without the filters disappearing.
