Anyone who writes both code (or numeric fractions) and LaTex commands will find it crippling to either trigger the coupler dialog on ‘/’ or ‘\’ without additional options. Currently, I have to set this to whichever is used less frequently to minimize the problem.
That’s doable, what would your prefer trigger be?
Have to agree with @Eulersnumber here. One suggestion might be a double-key short cut, such as “Alt \”? I think I use most single-key symbols too frequently.

I do also like the idea of having a double-key option. I don’t really have a preference as to which keys to use, but this option would definitely solve the problem.
