Multi-line spoilers with Markdown / LaTeX

I really like using the !!spoiler effect!! for revision cards: the answer remains covered until I roll my mouse over the text. This is much better than merely reading the answer, because it prompts me to try to recall the information. Would you be able to implement a similar effect for displayed $\LaTeX$? Equations that I want to remember often don’t look great if they’re written inline. Thanks

Multi-line spoilers is a great idea. Not sure our current markdown parser can support it, but I will look into it!

I’m curious if spoilers can be made multi-line currently, and I’m just not using them correctly? I have been doing individual lines, but it’s a bit annoying when the intent is to reveal a couple of paragraphs

Say If I wanted to hide a few bullet points in a spoiler, currently I have to do:

- !!test!!
- !!more!!

Instead of

!!
- test
- more
!!

I’m guessing there isn’t a way to support the latter?

Hi @fuzzy.beach, thanks for the suggestion!

Spoilers are currently inline only, however we have considered this making them multi-line in the past. There’s an existing request for LaTeX block spoilers, and I’ve combined them all here. If anyone else would like this please like @daniela1’s original post so we can gauge interest.
