When tying at the beginning in supernotes it doesn’t create a checkbox as explained in this help article: Tasks | Supernotes Help
So I find myself having to type - everytime, so “dash, space, open bracket, space, close bracket”. This is the only variation that seems to work and that is not very efficient. The weird thing is this: when I type on mobile it gets translated to - straight away and is then displayed as a checkbox in the read mode.
Hi @MrJack, thanks for the report.
Unfortunately, I’m not able to replicate this at all. Which app are you using where you’re encountering this issue? Any further information / a screen recording would be super helpful for us to debug this and help you.
It’s the Mac app for apple silicon.
Maybe it’s because I’m using a different keyboard layout? I have to press option plus 5 and 6 to get the square brackets.
Also when pressing the universal coupler and then ^ for links nothing happens.
Thanks for the further screenshots and info @MrJack. It seems like the issue may be to do with your AZERTY keyboard indeed. We will look into this and see if we can stop holding down the modify keys from preventing the hotkey from working. If anyone else has an AZERTY layout and has the same issue, please let us know down below.
Funnily enough, it works for me on the desktop app, but doesn’t work on mobile. I’m using a standard QWERTY layout for both.
We’re unable to replicate this with the recent 3.2 update to Supernotes. Marking this as fixed If not let us know and we’ll reopen
Still doesn’t work for me on Android
Hi @kan_extensions, can you pop us a screen recording and your device specs via the in-app messenger? Tap on your user icon > get help > chat with us. Since we’ve been unable to replicate this still on all our test devices.
