I can’t select text in a pinned card if the current card open in the Noteboard is in preview or edit mode. Instead of selecting the text, the pinned card is opened for previewing/editing.
This issue has been addressed in a hotfix release 
If using the desktop apps you will need to manually redownload them from the website. We will work on getting the updates even more seamless in an upcoming release so that manual downloading is not required even for untagged releases.
If using the web app you should already be able to see the changes.
