I wish I could right click on notes and do some of the same things available in the “Add” menu when editing. For example I frequently want to quickly add tags to notes I just imported and editing each one one at a time is a hassle.

Try two quick clicks on the edit button, the first will edit the card, and the second will open the “Add an element…” menu to add a tag. That’s one of the reasons why those buttons are in the same location.
The right-click functionality in Supernotes is currently not very significant. Have supernotes considered adding a context menu with options like pin, junk, etc., when right-clicking on a card, or perhaps on the outline? After all, this would be very intuitive.
We have indeed considered this, we’ve just not added it. The menu already exists for cards in the Outline, we just need to add right click functionality instead of clicking the ellipsis. I’ve bumped up the priority of this, but other features a little more pressing at the moment.
If anyone else would like this behaviour please like @epicmaster’s initial post!

I had a chance to use macOS, so I tested the behavior. In macOS, right click didn’t work on the app, so that “Select All” didn’t appear. I think this is the reason why Supernotes developers couldn’t catch that meaningless context menu
We’re adding support for this in the next (3.1) release. Looking forward to sharing this with you all soon

This design is so beautiful. Is there a similar effect when long-pressing the card on the mobile device?
Thanks @hahahumble, yes all our menus translate across to our mobile experience. The current flow is long pressing on the bottom bar of a card to bring up this menu (we can’t enable long press on the body of a card as then it’s not possible to selected text).
However we also may disable this on mobile as it often takes more taps using these new menus, then simply tapping the ellipsis in the bottom right of a card and selecting the option you need.
This has been added in Supernotes 3.1. Marking this as implemented
