Would it be possible to add the option to turn on seamless mode for specific parent and child cards only?
I find seamless mode really useful for some notecards, but not for others. At the moment, it seems to be all-or-nothing, which makes switching a bit of a faff.
Interesting idea, and keen to hear what other members of the community think about this. My big question is why do you prefer seamless mode for some cards and not others – what content do they contain? Is there a way we can generally make those cards look better without needing seamless mode?
I like this idea too. There are some notes im working on that don’t need seemless mode but one example where i use it - if im writing a sermon, i have the research then it breaks into points, seemless there is good as it makes it feel like a complete document.
I work in sales and when I am writing a proposal or preparing for a presentation, I put each point into separate notecards. This helps me to clarify each point and is easier to organise. However, when I am reading, seamless mode helps to combine them all into a single, readable document.
Other times it is good to have that separation - coding, research, etc.
That’s exactly what I’m doing when writing too! For some reason isolating a point really helps home in on it as its own card, it feels less overwhelming than having the whole document there. No idea why that is but it’s what I’m finding as I write and work in Supernotes.
