I really love Supernotes, but would love to use it also with a work account to set up as a knowledge base, shared with my colleagues.
I’d like my own notes to be owned by my personal account (using my personal email), then be able to switch accounts quickly to my work account (using work email) without having to sign-out-sign-in multiple times a day.
My thoughts are to in my work account share my company knowledge base with my personal account as a “reader”, to allow me to see the work stuff in my personal account without having a risk of accidentally adding personal notes accidentally as child or parent notes.
Wondering if Supernotes is ever considering multi-licenses or allowing you to have more than one workspace under one Unlimited account?
We totally get this and you’ll be glad to hear this general idea of a ‘multi-use’ account is something we’re slowly working towards.
It’s slightly different – we’ve teased this a while back and internally we’re calling it ‘Spaces’, where you can create a Space for each area of your life. To simplify things you’ll only ever have one Supernotes account but can add additional emails to access different spaces and more. If you’d like this or anyone else please like @ariccb’s post above so we can gauge interest (and I’ll modify the FR name as well).
In the meantime you can split up your hierarchy into “Work”, “Personal” and “Education” (or whatever you like) as the top level cards in combo with View Depth. As well as collections to further segment your notes. By default everyone is added as a reader to a card and you can always revoke any access so there should be minimal risk with accidentally sharing notes. That’s also one of the reasons we have the ‘members’ indicator on the face of a card.
Yeah I like the idea of being able to separate everything by spaces. Work and personal are the obvious separators, but I’m sure more ideas will come too.
I’ve got two companies I work for, could separate both of those as well
