Supernotes 3.1.4

Supernotes 3.1.4 is Here :beetle::gun:

Thank you for your feedback on the community forum! With this release, we’ve fixed all active bugs from our Community Forum – so we’re starting with a fresh slate from today. Obviously there will always be bugs we haven’t caught yet, but we want to re-affirm our goal to bring you a bug-free Supernotes experience whenever possible.

To help maintain this going forward, we’ve also added explicit error notifications if syncing issues occur. Our goal is that anything you are able to do in our apps should work robustly and not cause errors, but if they do occur we’ve added these notifications so that you can quickly send us a screenshot to help us sort out the issue ASAP.

We’ve also focused on significant improvements to Android, enhancing syncing stability and adding the Share to Supernotes feature. Now, our iOS and Android apps have full feature parity :raised_hands:

Check out the full list of fixes and improvements below. As always, if you reported or suggested any changes, you’re credited

Not fixed on Android.

Hi @freisatz, this is fixed with all search interfaces, except for the Universal Coupler where backspace is still valid to dismiss it. Where else are you noticing this behaviour?

Awesome, some long-standing bugs to finally disappear!

Also, the share-to feature on Android may seem like a small addition, but it makes the app feel different, much more native.

Well done

It’s just the coupler.

Edit: I have tested it just on the top level of the coupler. I now realize its fixed in nested menus, which works for me.

I got the little push message in the upper right corner, that a new update is available. I clicked on it and started the installation - now the only thing I am constantly getting is an error “supernotes.exe is being searched. Click on search to find it yourself” … and then a linking error comes up.

I got stuck in this loop - I am on Windows 11 and try to install the x64-version.

I tried to install 3.1.0 - that worked … I am trying to zoom in to the problem a little bit more.

@isaiur if you install the new Windows app from our downloads page does that work? Download | Supernotes

No - unfortunately not. It could be a problem which Norton (Antivirus) fires up… but I’m not sure. I am trying several things at the moment.

Ok for now you can redownload and install Supernotes 3.1.3 here. We’re pulling the 3.1.4 version for Windows temporarily for everyone until we can resolve your issue.

Installing 3.1.3 while Norton was running worked …

Hi @isaiur, we have fixed this now, the intel binaries were missing so your app was trying to run the wrong architecture. Within the next hour your 3.1.3 app should automatically update and work correctly once installed

I’ve been testing this, but haven’t noticed any difference with the old behaviour. What has changed?
