@tobias Another big limitation with search I have is that linking search is super limited. Say I type [[ and start searching, I have no levers to narrow my search. This is where the current filtering suggestion falls flat, because if I want to find something inline, the last thing I want to do (to stay in flow) is to start filtering things around in order to find cards that are say children to some other cards, or have a specific tag and so on…
The current approach searches everything, sure, but sometimes that’s a big detriment. Not to mention, most of the time I find that the view context is so tiny that I can’t even grok the results unless I already know them

You can only see some of the parent titles, very little body context, etc. I find this very limiting frankly, and most of the time I can only link to cards that I made in the last few days and actually remember, rather than being able to search on the fly. Some ideas from Add backlinked cards under card in Preview - #9 by fuzzy.beach would greatly improve this (or any analogous simpler solution that solve the problem)
