Web Extension / Clipper

Welcome to the Supernotes Community, Dan and @booknerdcarp :tada:

TL;DR: A Web Clipper is confirmed but there’s no ETA yet. We’re excited to be working on this very soon and will post more updates here once it starts taking shape.

We’re aware that the Web Clipper is a highly anticipated feature, but are currently consolidating and improving what we already have before diving straight into another huge project. Unfortunately it’s not as simple as it sounds, Clippings ≠ Notes, and adding a simple version could quickly lead to lots of third-party content suddenly flooding your personal knowledge system. That’s one of the reasons there’s entire tools dedicated just to clipping content, and why we’re putting more thought into it.

Over the past 10 months, we’ve released Mobile apps, Offline support, Realtime collaboration, AI features, and Custom Collections, which has been a huge amount of work. Our immediate focus is to refine these features, based on your feedback here on the forum. We will also release more help guides and workflows, as we find that Supernotes already has huge amount of depth and rich abundance of features suitable for many use cases – and this often isn’t directly clear for new members.

As a stopgap, we’ve also been working on improving our own and collaborating with third parties on quick capture integrations with other services such as Email, Raycast, Telegram, Pipedream, and Funnel which many of you have mentioned are very useful. If there’s any other services you’d like let us know! Looking forward to sharing more with you soon.
