What does pinning do?

Hi - just getting to grips with pinning… in Today view on iPhone, should pinning keep that note at the top of the view, with other Today notes appearing underneath?

It doesn’t seem to be always doing that, and I’m struggling to work out why it does what when.

Any advice on how it’s supposed to work would be appreciated!

Nope, pinning just sticks cards onto the “pinboard”, which on iOS can be accessed from the button on the far right. You can then re-arrange as needed by dragging and dropping pinned cards.

However I will note that we mostly reccomend the pinboard for cards that you want to be temporarily top-of-mind. For more long-term “I want to access these cards a lot”, it might be better to create a Custom Collection for that purpose.

Supernotes does not currently have the ability to keep certain cards pinned within certain views, which I think is what you are looking for.
