It’s actually quite inconvenient to go to Home and change the card tag to match anything in the Collections. Would it not be easier just to create a card within the custom collection?
To get around this, I am planning on turning the collection into a parent card and creating cards as children as that would be more convenient – but I also want the graph view in collections.
Any easy way to create cards directly in Custom Collections?

Great point! And is actually something both @connor and I discussed, even before releasing Custom Collections. It’s more complex than meets the eye due to the great flexibility of Custom Collection filters – e.g. if you create a collection called “Derrick’s Cards” which all the cards “Derrick” shared with you, then creating a card in this collection won’t actually create a card by Derrick as that would be impossible.
However we’re planning on adding a halfway-house solution soon, where if it’s possible, it will apply those attributes to a newly created card. Looking forward to sharing this with you in due course.
Thanks for the reply and glad to know it’s in development. You might offer the ability to create cards for certain rules in the custom collection where there isn’t a conflict (just having tags/multitags for example).
