Easier Editing of Templetes

Hey Team!

Recently I have needed to edit my templates pretty frequently. One thing I noticed is for me to update an existing template, I need to do the following:

  1. Create a new card
  2. Paste the existing template
  3. Make my changes to the template
  4. Delete the existing template.
  5. Save the new template.

This is tedious and not very quick. If their was an option to “overwrite” my existing template from step 3, that would solve this. I could be missing something obvious here, but I wasn’t able to find anything in the docs. Thanks team!!

Hi @SideMatter,

You’re totally right. Templates definitely need an improvement, we’re already working on adding more template properties at the moment.

Although a template manager of sorts, with a live preview similar to custom collections, would improve this for sure. We will see what we can do :smiley:
