Please consider bringing back a quick way to change visibility of a card. Right now in the latest version 3.1 it seems to be only possible via “interact” and entering the new status via keyboard. I would much prefer it to be possible to change it faster, eg in the first menu appearing when clicking the three dots. Thanks!
Hi @Vlach,
Noted! We’re actually in the midst of entirely removing Visibility in favour of just “Add to Outline”, and “Hide” cards as it seems to confuse new users, and we want to make the learning curve as easy as possible.
One thing that is somewhat related: currently you cannot retrieve the visibility status in the new “native” menu on mobile, which is a bit inconvenient at times.
Thanks for the explanation of your plans. I use just “Priority” and “Visible”. Priority" is for me something i need to work on / want to see first / need to think about. “Visible” is all thats done, a reference thats atm no longer needed etc.
I guess with the change to “Add to outline” & “Hide” things will stay the same. - or will “hidden” notes become unsearchable and not showing up if filters removed?
Functional aspects will remain mostly unchanged. The main difference will be the naming convention. We will assess the UX and see if transitioning from using “Visibility” as a name is appropriate.
We’ve added a Visibility option in the card options menu in Supernotes 3.1.1. We may rework this more but based on your feedback it seems like Visibility has been very clear and useful. Marking this as implemented
