My Supernotes Wishlist

Just a little list of the features and changes I’ve compiled that I would most like to see introduced into Supernotes in a future release.

  • Tag management system - introduces a central hub that allows the user to edit and organise tags within supernotes.
  • Additional themes options, besides the current two light and two dark theme options.
  • Additional colour options for cards.
  • Additional icons with colour - some that are IT related would be really helpful for me.
  • Additional text size options - I may just be losing my eyesight or something, but 20xp max text size still feels too small for me to comfortably use my notes.
  • Passkey support.

Thanks for sharing your wishlist @K3nzo  Many of the things you’ve mentioned are features we’re considering and already have open feature requests. Might be worth linking to them – like Passkey Support.

I’ve moved this topic from feature requests to thoughts & feedback as we try to keep feature requests & bug report topics to one feature / bug each so we can more easily track them.

How are you finding the new features of Supernotes 3.2 so far?

Hey @Tobias That’s great to hear! And yes, I am enjoying the 3.2 update very much - I particularly value the new table view which makes it must easier for me to visually view and track my collection of notes.

Something I would like to ask regarding backlinks - is there a way we can link between cards without the link being put into the body of the note? I’m trying to find ways to keep my notes looking neat, tidy and clutter free while still being informative.

Hi @K3nzo, glad to hear you’re enjoying the update.

And at the moment, not currently. We try to keep things as simple as possible, and hiding outgoing card links away in a drawer or popover would make things a bit more complex – but it’s an interesting idea!

Out of interest how much do you use parent cards? That’s kind of the intention we had with them so they’re not in the body of the note if you want to group cards together. Or use tags for simpler categorisation link cards together by a common theme.

my main wish is to have a way of selecting different areas or “spaces” would be a great way to keep different areas of our lives separated!
