New Cards Should Automatically Inherit Parent in Table Layout

I’m not sure wether to mark this one as a bug or feature request—it feels a bit like a bug since the behavior is different under different views (like column layout).

Anyway, when creating a new card in table view using either the “New Card” button, the card does not have the current open card as a parent by default. This is different from column view, in which newly created cards inherit the open card as a parent automatically.

I think parity of behavior across the layouts would be helpful here.

Thanks for the suggestion! Makes sense for sure, and we’ll add this in the next minor update. Since it doesn’t break anything I’ve move this into feature requests :slight_smile:
