Persistent "see more" states

Some of my boards are gallery-like moodboards, and each card is just an image. Typically on the board view these images show up softly cropped, interrupted by a “see more”:

I can get the gallery effect by tapping out the see more’s, but this is not ideal to have to do every time. Can the state be persistent across page visits?

(I think this is similar to the issue posted here, although that was probably the distinction between having a card collapsed v. open).

Persistence of the collapsed state probably does make sense, just as we persist the sort order or view type.

If this would not be good for anyone’s workflow, please let us know!

Also worth noting that there are alternative ways to improve your view currently @neeldhara.

Seamless Mode

You can jump into Seameless Mode at any time by pressing, Ctrl / Cmd\ – this will remove the visual appearance of the card so you can see just the images.

Display Cards as Maximised

You can set all cards to be Maximised by default using the Active View menu in the top left, like so:

I hope that helps! Let us know how you get on and what you prefer

Oooh, TIL about seamless mode, how cool is that!

I think both these options are really helpful. I’d still love the persistence for “see more…” (possibly users can opt into this behaviour from settings if you think it might be disruptive to some), because I usually do want some cards to be minimized, and these settings here seem to apply to all cards in the view :face_with_peeking_eye:

This is, ofc, only a “nice to have”
