Use OCR to extract the text from an image when the user inserts it into the card. Save this to the card’s metadata. This allows the user to search for the text in the image in the card.

Glad to hear about this. 
My use case is taking screenshots of Twitter posts / sentences in article and storing them in cards. Being able to search the text within these images would be very helpful for finding this content again.

Is this still true? A year has passed, and I’d like to know if it remains on the roadmap or if something has changed.
This is a big feature, and for someone who likes to take screenshots to save information, it would be amazing to be able to find notes without the need to duplicate information in the note (image + copy text from the image) to find a note.
