Tags with No Cards Still Show Up

I searched through the forum for the best practice for managing tags. I used multi-edit to remove a tag from every card. I did this for a few tags to get rid of those I never ended up using.

The tag still shows up on the list of tags even though it also shows no cards tagged with it.

Here’s an example. This is happening for every tag that I went through the process of removing it from every card it showed up on. Not using any other filters except the tag.

I had this in a conversation with Tobias a few days ago here:

Temporarily hide cards within filter view

To remove tags from the tag list, just make sure they’re removed from all your cards (incl. junk and invisible ones). And then log out and back in to reset the cache and those unruly tags will be gone We’re aware this isn’t the best flow and have a tag manager in the works.

Did you try to logout and login?
